About UNITE Diaspora Chapter
Connecting Gambians Across Borders
UNITE Diaspora Chapter is a platform for Gambians living abroad who want to remain connected to The Gambia and participate in the work of building a stronger national future.
The chapter connects members of the Gambian diaspora with the wider UNITE organization while creating opportunities for participation, collaboration, community engagement and support.
Our Story
From Shared Concern to Collective Action
The UNITE movement emerged from a growing conviction that The Gambia needs a new approach to governance, development and national renewal.
The movement’s vision is rooted in good governance, inclusive development, accountability and opportunity.
On July 1, 2026, UNITE was officially registered as a political party by The Gambia’s Independent Electoral Commission, following the submission of its application in December 2025.
The Diaspora Chapter forms part of this wider organization by creating a structured space for Gambians abroad to remain engaged and contribute to the national conversation.
